In conjunction with the exhibition 'Inside' organsised by Rafaela Pandolfini and Stella Rosa McDonald, at the Paddington Town Hall, two nights of sound performances arranged by MP Hopkins will occur.

Club Sound Witches:
Club Sound Witches explore the detritic peripherals of sound in subtleties of rhythm and the simplest of sine languages... So.).. Club Sound Witches ponder an empty dance floor. Expect each set to be throbbing, improvised and unique. They have tape releases in the UK, Australia, Russia and USA. Nicola has a B.Music from Qld Conservatorium and a M.Fine Arts from Sydney College of Arts and Matt has a B.Electronic Arts from UWS.

Red Wine and Sugar:
Red Wine and Sugar is Victorian residents Samaan Fieck (Smash Tennis, Hexham, Ghost Gums) and Mark Groves (Dead Boomers, Absurd Cosmos Late Nite, Seeping). Early activity of the project appeared as the ‘Chattels’ cassette EP in 2015, and as part of the cassette compilation ‘The First Thing that you want is the Last Thing that you Need’ in 2016, both on the Maitland based Mazurka Editions. This material was later collected on compact disc as 'Chattels + The Confidence and Humour of John' on Groves' Index Clean imprint. Recently the duo has released an LP titled 'Dogs, Blood, Storms, Spiders', also on Index Clean.

Peter Blamey:
Peter Blamey is a Sydney-based artist. His work explores sound, energies and residues, and the relationships between people, technologies and environments. His practice is typically grass roots and ‘hands-on’, and frequently involves establishing interactions between disparate everyday materials to produce performances, artworks and installations aimed (in part) at reimagining accepted notions of connectivity, variability and use.
