In this show our June resident, Jessica Ekomane, will be collaborating with media artist Josh Harle on an interactive VR soundscape at Tactical Space Lab. 

Jessica's practice transforms sounds into site-specific installations. Alternating between noise and melody, her work plays with our perception of rhythmical structures. Born in France and based in Berlin, Jessica was one of the recipient of an honorary mention for the Sonotopia award 2016 from the Bonn Beethoven-Stiftung, as well as for Ars Electronica 2013 in the category "Digital Musics and Sound Art" for Light / Movement, as part of the project Pulse Lab II: Works for Wave Field Synthesis initiated by Robert Henke (DE). She also has been a Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) scholarship holder.
