About Chris Abrahams
Pianist and composer Chris Abrahams is one of Australia’s premier musicians, widely recognized for his wide-ranging keyboard skills. Perhaps best known for his long term, mesmeric playing in cult band The Necks, Abrahams has appeared with the Benders, the Sparklers, Peter Blakeley, the Necks, Jackie Orszaczky, and Ed Kuepper since the 1980s and performs regularly in the jazz and improvising music scenes both in Australia and Europe.
Abrahams has, amongst a wide and varied array of other projects, released several solo piano and electro acoustic albums (most recently the acclaimed Fluid to The Influence) and toured constantly, throughout the world, with The Necks, releasing numerous albums with them.
