RED BULL MUSIC ACADEMY PRESENTS: TALK TO THE BREEZE
AN AMBIENT JOURNEY AMONGST THE RUINS OF MIDDLE HEAD LED BY JAPANESE COMPOSER AND PERCUSSIONIST MIDORI TAKADA

In an exploratory continuation of last year’s Talk To The Sea event, this year Talk To The Breeze will see Japanese composer and percussionist Midori Takada extend the ambient journey among the ruins of Middle Head Fortifications in Sydney Harbour National Park. Her pioneering blend of East Asian sounds, jazz and minimal percussive compositions will navigate towards the open ocean and feed off the unique historical environment, which has for years been used as a lookout towards the sea. The iconic landmark will also play host to Melbourne’s Krakatau, harnessing their prog-jazz stylings alongside András’s ambient project, Wilson Tanner. Talk To The Breeze featuring Midori Takada goes down on Friday, September 1.
