Exit Promises 2.0 is a sound world rooted in desire for potential and improvement. Existing as a speculative venue; pure healing frequencies and multilayered voices are enclosed in electronic beat heavy soundscapes.
The show is a site of promise but also functions alongside nuances of sonic influence and the contradictions within rational neoliberal thought; promises that are filtered through occult and psycho-spiritual manifestations.
The site satisfies the desire for frequencies to augment moods and alter futures – stemming from a personal intrigue with online modes of sonic healing and contemporary sound rituals.
In early 2017, Hunt began experimentation with affecting frequencies whilst on residence at Cite International Des Arts, Paris.
