ORGANISED SPORTS /// DAY ONE

- Bloom Creation (JAPAN)
Mysterious acid folk / psych from Tokyo. In Japan you’ll often find them on bills nestled comfortably between bands like Maher Shalal Hash Baz, The Incapacitants, and Los Doroncos.
First Australian tour, joined on drums by Mark Anderson from Mysteries of Love (see LP on Alberts Basement) / Greymouth (EP on Quemada).

- Place Holder
The often chaotic four piece have recently been amplifying and bashing out their strange mix of sounds to audiences in China and Malaysia, but are now back in Australia to grace the stage of the MGC. Virtuosos of amplified objects, Place Holder aren't quite like any other band playing at the moment. Place Holder are John Wilton, Andrew Fedorovitch, Laurence Williams and Shota Matsumura. (M.O.B + Ghost Hobo)

- V.I.P.P.
STRANGE strange folk by Ewan Finley of Sex Tourists and Aloha Units, with members of Negative Gears in support. 2017 cassette on Paradise Daily was a sleeper hit, savagely heartfelt and weirdly dry.
