The term 'post punk' is so overused and abused these days that I'm not even really sure what it is, but I think Exek are it. Their new album 'Ahead Of Two Thoughts' is a carefully curated cacophony of sounds and drawled witticisms dripping with springy reverb and delay, all threaded together by a rhythm section with a groove that just won't quit.
