Nicola Morton - Liliana Occhiuto - Ailsa Liu
Nicola Morton is a facilitator at All Girl Electronic (2016-2018), a program for young women, trans and non-binary youth from Western Sydney. For this event she will be getting up and performing with sound projects of AGE participants, Ailsa Liu and Liliana Occhiuto. Nicola Morton will perform a set of improvised dance music using modulated bass lines, drum machine and lo-fi vocal sampling.

The Splinter Orchestra is a large-scale electro-acoustic improvising ensemble based in Sydney. Every Splinter Orchestra performance unfolds a unique improvisational sonic ecology combining highly developed music skills with thoroughly experimental sound-making and an intuitive compositional repertoire built from years of collective engagement.
Sonya Holowell
Sonya’s practice is based around the presentation of exploratory vocal music; from improvisation to pre-composed vocal works spanning centuries, genres and cultural contexts. She utilises a vast range of techniques to highlight the fullest capabilities of the voice, with a particular interest in its capacity to express the inexpressible.

Their interest lies with the score as a conduit, as well it’s potential to break down the boundaries and hierarchies between subject and object amongst notions of author/performer/audience.

Danny Wild is an Audio Visual artist living and working in Sydney, Australia. His work explores routine and daily living on an absurd and microscopic level. Danny often transforms mundane moments into sublime and surreal experiences. Danny will be creating a video installation collage work that explores Sydney’s landscape and history in a playful and abstracted way.
