Thursday, November 19th - Charlie, Jacques and Chloe - "Big music from a small scene":
We wanted to showcase the breadth of style and emotion available to the musicians we are familiar with. It is often said that Jazz musicians are among the most versatile of performers, so we invited Charlie Sundborn (Saxophone and Electronics), Jacques Emery (Double Bass) and Chloe Kim (Drums) to perform the widest range of material they have.
SET 1: Charlie, Jacques and Chloe will each perform a solo set.
SET 2: Charlie, Jacques and Chloe form a trio to play a handful of classics and originals.
SET 3: Charlie, Jacques and Chloe are joined by Pianist Thibaud Kessel to perform a set of post-punk and no-wave inspired songs.
These promising young musicians are apart of the art-forms ever-expanding horizon - join us to find out why.
