A subset of the minds that brought you 'interesting music' night Frigid have joined forces with some more interesting people and GOOD SPACE to create a nine week run of Thursday evenings of interesting live electronic music featuring live acts, deejays and veejays from 6pm til midnight for only $8 at the door.
Expect modular synthesisers with masses of blinking lights and tangled patch cables, performers playing obscure objects like panes of glass or hurdygurdies, drums played without sticks, eye bending visuals, DNA being turned into music, drones, dubs, noise, sub-bass, cut up vocals and beats alike.
Improvisation, collaboration, sonic exploration. Genres being blurred, bent and re-invented before your ears.
Come down at 6pm for five live acts, DJs and live visuals. $8 at the door.
BIOs:

Loose-y Crunché
========
Loose-y Crunché is the spin-off experimental multiplication of Lucy's better known techno alter-ego "Lucy Cliché".
The sounds she produces under the Loose-y Crunché pseudonym know no bounds, from pushing an agenda of pure emotion, humour and fluctuating mental states. Think synthetic machine rhythms, washed with reprieves of reflective softness and space.

resident DJ: Chris Mountford
========
Chris Mountford is a Sydney-based DJ and producer with a strong connection to the experimental music, Burning Seed and queer party communities.
Having hosted several of Sydney's most loved warehouse parties of recent years including Orchid Funstorm, he's also summoned dancefloor enthusiasm at the occasional festival and club night.
With a performative approach to DJing, his selections strike a sophisticated balance of rhythms from the Middle East, South America and naturally, Africa, with a sonority that blends traditional instrumentation with the purely synthetic.
