n0izmkr (aka Nicole Carroll, USA) is a composer, performer, sound designer, and builder. Her work spans improvisation, installation, theatre, and fixed media performance. She builds custom instruments and performance sensor systems that utilize magick systems as source material. Her works have been performed internationally in the USA, Mexico, Wales, Germany, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Greece, Australia, South Korea, and China. She received a Ph.D. from Brown University in Providence, RI, and is currently Lecturer of Digital Composition at The University of Newcastle in Newcastle, Australia. www.nicolecarrollmusic.com
