c u t i e
Eora (Sydney) based improvisation collective c u t i e have been playing together for 4 years and will be presenting their shared love of soundscape and abstract groove exploration in an intimate setting. Over this time, they have been extensively collaborating and learning under established improvising musicians in the scene - culminating in a deep and ongoing understanding of the history/processes involved in improvised music.

Peter Farrar
Peter is perhaps best known as a saxophonist working in the realms of improvised/experimental/jazz/stylefree music, though his love of experimentation sees his practice constantly evolving and branching out.
Peter is a core member of the seminal large scale improvising group Splinter Orchestra. He also co-founded the group Prophets - a collective focused on DIY creativity through masks, and improvised communal music.
Over the last few years PF has performed quite a few solo shows, each with varying instrumentation and sound worlds. For this Jetsets performance he will be playing saxophone and percussion - a first for him.
