Weirding Ways - October

  • Low302 302 Crown Street Darlinghurst, NSW, 2010 Australia (map)

A diverse group of artists with an improvisation practice come together in an experimental multidisciplinary collaboration process to divine something to do with, for, or in-front of, an audience.

They may tell you about the research or concepts underpinning what they're doing, or not. It's up to them, and they decide what they do at their discretion.... that is to say, the plan very well could be that there is no plan; which is in of itself a plan.

In this project, the artists have licence to do anything they like within the resources provided, and are offered the freedom to be responsive to the moment.

This second iteration of Weirding Ways is being facilitated by Andrew Batt-Rawden and features artists Bianca Willoughby (https://linktr.ee/biancarivermoon), Moonshine (Paul Walker - see ABC article about his recent work), Jack Colwell (https://linktr.ee/jvckcolwell) and Theare (Andrew) (https://linktr.ee/theare).

Further information can be found at https://linktr.ee/weird.nest

$5 tickets, with further donations encouraged

This project is supported by City of Sydney and BrandX.

(please note, the images and video used to advertise this event are from last month's premiere of Weirding Ways, picturing artists Nikki Heywood, Melanie Eden and Tim Moriarty).
