Mondays @ The Church is Ensemble Offspring’s free series that unites interactive discussions with new music to explore current social issues in Australia. With four events across 2023 covering distinct topics, each Mondays @ The Church is a melting pot of pertinent ideas and musical premieres, hosted by guest speakers and composers. Featuring 30 minutes of music which directly reflects the poignant theme of the evening, performances are interspersed with lively Q&A's. Peer through the lens of new music from around the globe, and experience the impact of sound and ideas together as they clarify our understanding of the world around us.

About Mondays @ The Church 4: The Human Experience
Perth guitarist and 2023 Hatched Associate Artist Abbey Felton performs alongside Ensemble Offspring in the culmination of her year-long mentorship. Curated by Abbey, the recital includes a world premiere by Sydney composer Christine Pan, which shines a spotlight on the confronting realities of human trafficking, alongside chamber works exploring the human condition..
