I Hold the Lion's Paw
Embrace the sorcery
Conjuring spirits with their iconic twisted funk and electro-grunge soundscapes, I Hold the Lion’s Paw will take you on a wild sonic ride like nothing you’ve ever heard The brainchild of ARIA nominated trumpeter-producer Reuben Lewis, I Hold the Lion’s Paw is a guide into an immersive world of electro-ambience, grungy afro-grooves and psychedelic jazz that will leave you with "the feeling of having stumbled into someone else’s LSD trip” (Sydney Morning Herald). This is music as assemblage, using the stage as a laboratory whilst practicing post-production sorcery in realtime. With two highly acclaimed studio albums under their belt, the latest offering by Lion’s Paw is 3x3, a mind-blowing live vinyl offering made entirely at Program Records.
