𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐝𝐬 will crash land the end of their 𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 tour of Canberra, MONA and Melbourne at LazyBones on the back of their As If You Were Destined To Live Forever (Don't Behave) release. Expect their ambient guitar and keyboard improvisations to get portentous as they immerse you in landscapes transcending from the sublimely beautiful to darkly epic. This music is not for every day - it’s for every night. They're joined by special guests 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐤𝐭𝐫𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 + 𝐕𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨.

𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐤𝐭𝐫𝐨 originally formed as a sound performance project of Lastgasp Art Laboratories in Tokyo, Japan 1996. Characterized by harsh machine produced junk metal sounds, Defektro has performed for nearly 30 years. One of the former members Hirofumi Uchino, is the futuristic mastermind and inventor of the machines invented for Defektro. The sound is produced by the machines, rare element metal sheets, noise instruments and sonic weapons then sampled, effectively chewed up and spat out for the pleasure of the audience. Over 30 titled recordings have been released from various record labels around the world. Internationally Defektro has toured the United States, Australia, Europe and Japan, and continues to perform domestically.

Following a beautiful big Sydney album launch, an interstate tour of ‘Unbroken’ and three Sydney Fringe Festival shows, 𝐀𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 + 𝐕𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨 are excited to bring you a sneak peek of ‘𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱’, part of a new set of mesmeric narrative dreamscape, ahead of taking both ‘Unbroken’ and ‘Reimagined’ to MONA in mid-November. Come hear Vassallo’s masterful guitar and Aether’s reimagining of the lives of women in strange lands on the other side of time.
