Szikrabáb is a Sydney-based duo fusing Eastern European harmonies with electronic beats, raw guitars, and drums, blending dense layers with minimalism. Active since 2018, they've released seven singles and are working on a debut album. Guitarist Tamás Molnár is joined by Jack Blitz on saxophone, Aparna Nagashayana on vocals, and Maharshi Raval on tabla.
Aparna Nagashayana is a Hindustani classical vocalist and composer, trained by Pandit D.S. Garud and Vidushi Veda Gopalaswamy. She promotes Indian classical music in Australia through performances and charity concerts.
Maharshi Raval is a renowned tabla player trained under Pandit Nandan Mehta and Pandit Pooran Maharaj. He founded the Gajanan Cultural Mission to promote Indian classical music and has collaborated internationally across genres like jazz, fusion, and world music.
Jack Blitz is an experimental saxophonist and trip-hop producer, having performed with Jazzanova (Germany), Blue MC (AUS), and Dushi (UK).
