August 10, 2024: A night destined to go down in history.

It was on this date that BELIEVE, one of Sydney's most dedicated cohort of collective improvisers, created history.

Much like the legendary Town Hall Concerts of Charles Mingus and Ornette Coleman, this event wasn't without its controversy -would there be an audience? Would the music meet the hype? Was it too new, too radical, too dangerous to garner critical praise? - All these questions, and a ticket price of $4.50 connect these events.
