"Monday Night Confessions" is a weekly show presenting original jazz/improvised music. Run out of Church Street Studios in Camperdown, Sydney, we acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora nation, and pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging.

Jachlo is Sydney the duo of Chloe Kim and Jacques Emery who will be joined by pianist Chris Abrahams. Since 2023, Chris, Jacques, and Chloe—undoubtedly three of Australia’s most loved and celebrated improvisers—have explored a shared improvisational language, constantly evolving their sound. This performance marks their debut as a group, offering a glimpse into their collaborative work in progress.

A new multi state collaborative project, Barham//Fujisaki//Moore//Kalait brings together four exciting and very unique voices in improvised harmony. Hailing from both Melbourne and Sydney, this group features some of the most innovative and explorative improvisers and composers of their respective cities who usually all serve as front line players in their own bands. This project sees them all playing together and seeking to subvert the usual role of wind instruments in an ensemble.
