JAG is Gabriella Hill, Jacques Emery and Alex Tucker. They improvise and play compositions.

The music explores a range of sonic possibilities including textural densities, tension at different volumes and timbral combinations. Melodies and rhythmic archetypes are used as platforms for improvisation.

Written components function as interchangeable pieces that can be rearranged to create frameworks in which improvisation is informed.

This will be their third gig as a trio.
