High-energy drummer Alf Jackson of Reptrillion Culture Club and Dogs of Pleasure plays solo drum kit. Heavily inspired by a lifestyle immersed in nature, Alf draws on patterns expressed in the natural world to inform his rhythmic language.

Warmbluetig is a modern jazz project based between Sydney and Hamburg. Led by Sydney guitarist and composer, Danica Hobden, the compositions are heavily inspired by the Australian jazz music scene, new European influences and a textural and gesture-rich approach to composition that is woven together by folkloric storytelling.

After the debut album release “It Was Long Ago, It Will Be a Long Time”, and collaborative concerts in Germany featuring renowned artists such as Will Guthrie, and the Hamburg Ballet, this Warmbluetig Sydney concert will present this music for the first time in Australia with the original quartet.
