Believe are Sydney’s hardest gigging free jazz band. Peter Farrar, saxophones / Novak Manojlovic, piano / Clayton Thomas, double bass / Laurence Pike, drums.
Sonya Holowell is a peerless classically trained improvising vocalist.
Sonya and the band memorably performed together previously at the Strata Festival 2024 at Phoenix Central Park.

Sasha Gavlek (26, they/them) is a contemporary bassist, bandleader, composer, event producer, and educator based in nipaluna, lutruwita (Hobart, Tasmania).

"Monday Night Confessions" is a weekly show presenting original jazz/improvised music. Run out of Church Street Studios in Camperdown, Sydney, we acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora nation, and pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging.
