The music of our nearest neighbour remains largely unknown in Australia, so this recital presents works by four of Indonesia’s most prominent composers: Trisutji Kamal, Yazeed Djamin, Soe Tjen Marching and Ananda Sukarlan. The program will also include Indonesia-influenced works by Claude Debussy, Bela Bartok, Anne Boyd, Gareth Farr and Roger Smalley.
