Acoustic and electronic worlds bleed together in a night of some of Eora/Sydney’s best experimental fusion sounds. Expect blends of nu-jazz, R&B, dub and club textures, with hybrid live sets and selections infused with elements of improvisation to launch the debut EP from producer and instrumentalist heartholder, Jazzclub.
The culmination of years of exploration, Jazzclub exists on the edge of darker modern jazz and left-field electronica, drawn together by warped saxophone and chopped acoustic breaks. For the first time, producer and instrumentalist heartholder will debut a completely live set in a very special reinterpretation and expansion of the EP alongside brand new Sydney project Zeroing.
Incomparable trio Heart Armour join to showcase their entrancing, unique sonic experimentation grounded in the raw emotional authenticity of R&B, alongside elements of improvisation, chance, and electro-acoustic processing.
One of the city’s best selectors and radio makers, Galiba will be spinning cuts across her genreless range of rhythmic and textural explorations.
