As the title states, this meetup will have an underlying discussion on the concept/theme/vision for EF17 showcase on the 4th of November at 107 Projects. Think things like post-singularity, a green future, cyberpunk, transhumanism, new senses etc. A creative representation of emerging technology and it's ethical implications, but also accessible to a broad audience.

For nearly 20 years Electrofringe has been bringing artists, technologists, their projects, and audiences together in a stimulating environment for creative and social exchange. The annual showcases provide opportunities to present new work, demonstrate practice, express new ideas, test prototypes, receive direct feedback from eager audiences, and connect with peers and industry partners. 

Through a range of regular meetups and a workshop program, we look to create an ever growing community network of people interested and practising within the tech and electronic space, through art, technical skill sharing, and social entrepreneurship. We aim to be the most open platform for experimental and radical projects in Sydney.

Bring your ideas, laptop, toys, robots, self, usb stick, pictures, sounds etc. We can provide power, two imacs, a large screen, speakers, and a projector, and let's start building a community of collective ideas for the showcase EF17.

We are aiming to have regular meetups every third Tuesday of the month with topics that discuss but aren't limited to, the following activities:  
18th July  - Concept Development
15th August - Exhibiting & Performing
19th September - Workshops, Demos & Presentations
17th October - Community & Volunteering

Location is level 4, F Block. 6-8pm, drop in/out anytime.
