A narrator, a sound artist, and three instrumentalists combine to form the Living Machine; an assemblage of humans and sound-making technology that turn the audience’s suggestions into wholly immersive stories. Nothing here is pre-planned, and all of the components of the machine work together to generate an audience-designed, unified narrative and soundtrack. In this special variation of the performance, not only will the audience be inputting information into the narrative generating machine, but the performance space will be too! Stories from the local area will be remixed and reinterpreted to create a collectively-designed narrative and soundtrack. The event is always enjoyable for all involved, and it might just make you question why more performances don’t ask the audience to get involved!
