Eleanor Zurowski is interested in the questions of how, why and what we consume, focusing on the potentials for intervention and intimacy through working collaboratively with others, often using text, sound and performance. Grains/Gains is a work in progress exploring the notion of 'grinding', looking particularly to both the materiality and Western socio-cultural histories of bread and bread making.

Del Lumanta is an artist and musician from Sydney. For this set they will try something new. Here is a link to Lygia Pape's work entitled 'Weaving' (1957): https://www.tate.org.uk/art/images/work/P/P80/P80082_10.jpg Maybe that helps.

Peter Blamey is a Sydney-based artist. Broadly speaking, his work explores (amongst other things) the interconnected themes of energies and residues, often through reimagining and recasting our everyday encounters with technologies and the physical world, and also our experiences of energy generation, use and wastage. This is his first gig in Sydney in almost a year!

We acknowledge and pay respect to the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land, the Gadigal peoples of the Eora nation. We recognise their continuing connection to land and culture, and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. This event takes place on stolen land, land that always was, and always will be Aboriginal land.
