Co-presented by City of Parramatta Council and the Gatehouse Tea Rooms, this special presentation will feature The Necks in concert in the lush surrounds this UNESCO world heritage listed site.
Since forming in Sydney in 1986 The Necks have built an international reputation as masters of their own musical language of long-form improvisation. Each Necks performance features two completely new pieces of music. Every time they step onto the stage it’s with no preconceived ideas of what they will play – they and the audience will go on a sonic journey that is created in the moment.
