The People’s Republic of Australasia is thrilled to conclude the opening weekend of our newly built facility, The Red House, with a rare performance by a wonderful local duo Spartak

As Spartak, Sia Ahmad and Evan Dorrian have released numerous collections of tweakers rock, jazz abstraction and minimal electronics on labels such as Low Point, Feral Media and New Weird Australia since 2007.
They've performed around the Australian continent, and in Singapore, Malaysia and Japan alongside artists as disparate as My Disco, Andrew Pekler, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, Minamo and Container.
Also known individually for their solo practice and work with acclaimed outfit Tangents, their performances as a duo are free-flowing improvisations, using machines and live instrumentation to create a singular wall of noise.
